Boycott Clipper Seafood-

company is major player in unsustainable harvesting of u.s. seafood they usually sell to asia and europe at a discount while u.s. has to pay inflated rate.

the company has 3 shifts on a boat at any time to harvest but, during sable harvest they sent home 2 full crews and promised the remaining 1 crew that they would get a higher percentage of pay.  the company split the revenue at 70% for company and 30% for labor all while deducting $25 dollars a day for food.

the crew worked 24-27 hours a day ( company refuses to acknowledge this becuz its against the law)

the crew then would get 3-4 hours of sleep and another full 24-27 hours of work

all while getting one lunch break after 12-16 hours.. depending on captain attitude.

f/v cape greig enters canal owned by romanzof fishing

ever wanted to purge the fishing fleet  of its unsustainable harvesters..cape romanzof fishing ,also known as baranof fisheries ,courageous seafoods, kanaga island fishery , and akulurak seafoods, brought the f/v cape greig ( a floating processor  for salmon) into thier fleet a recently and the boat has returned from another unsustainable disappearance of salmon that once again locals dont benefit from becuz the company wont share..

Right now the boat is parking right next to gas works park at the northlake terminal.. its a little crowded on the dock so for now the boat is tied up next to another boat and is difficult to see.. just look for the 3 rusted smoke stacks in the front .. its yellowish on top and blue on bottom....
