A Tacoma police patrol car was vandalized early today parked outside the officer's North End home, the department reported.

The car's windows were smashed out and three of the tires slashed. The vandals spraypainted the rear panel and trunk area with the words, "Oscar Grant was here," Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.

The officer interrupted the vandals, who ran off. A police dog searched the area but didn't find the suspects, Fulghum said.

The vandals were described as men wearing hooded sweatshirts. The patrol car was towed to Tacoma police headquarters for processing, Fulghum said.

We are a group of Olympia residents whose goal is to support the “State
Street 29”. Our goal is to encourage others to view these people from the
perspective of those who rely on and care about them.

On April 8, 2010, the metropolis finally opened its arms to us. With a history of somewhat homogenous anarchist events in Olympia, WA, we attempted to detach ourselves from the traditional mode of collective attack that the city has become familiarized with. Rather than bloc up, cause some destruction, and try to run away before the police snatch us, we decided to have a march in response to recent state violence wherein smashing a few windows and avoiding arrest wasn't the purpose of the action. Instead, we hoped to create something of a fairly calm spectacle that the police would be drawn to, creating potentialities for rifts elsewhere in the metropolis while the police tried to contain our march.

After three years of legal battles prompted by a battle with cops that never happened, three Olympia, WA anarchists settle out of court in a lawsuit that gave them over $30,000 and gave the City of Seattle one less reckless cop brutalizing people on the streets. Nadav Lewkowicz from the Leatherstocking Collective of Crumm Mountain, NY interviewed Brendan Maslauskas Dunn, a member of the IWW, anarchist and one of the Flag 3.
